Fairy Circles is a fabric cuff made by layering torn batik, ribbons, blue iridescent tulle, decorative ribbon and sandwiching between two layers of Solvy. It was then stitched to add dimension. On one end there is an extra large green corded decorative ring. The braided decorative cord is surrounded by glass beads in shades of green that were all hand sewn. There are five small square mirror like sew in stones. There are two leaf shaped glass leaf sew in stones, one small in light green and one large in an olive green. On one end of Fairy Circles sits the Fairy ring made from a piece of green batik. Glass beads surround and fill this magical ring.
Many tales in lore and legend abound about Fairy Circles...Remember, never enter unless invited and make sure that you carry marjoram and thyme to befuddle the Fairies in case you step into their circle uninvited..."And in their courses make that round In meadows and in marshes found, Of them so called the Fairy Ground..." just a few words from the immortal Bard. Dare to dance around the Fairy Circle nine times on a full moon and maybe you can hear the Fairies singing.
Fairy Circles measures 7"L X 3" to 4"W at its widest point. The button closure add no significant length to the cuff.
